We will remember you for the true gentleman that you were and how you doted on Pauline and adored your family, plus the best cups of tea you provided on our visits. A quiet man with a wicked sense of humour who will be sorely missed by Olive, Alison, Julie, Beth and Logan. R.I.P. Martyn xxx

Where do I began to explain what an incredible father, grandfather and role model that you were? I’ll miss our daily chats, breakfast at yours and mums on my days off, your fabulous cooking skills, particularly your Sunday roast, the way you looked after me when I was poorly, you taxying Leah wherever she wanted to go to make sure she was safe, our card nights, the love you shown us all. Your caring, selfless and loving ways and the way you took such great care of mum, many commented that they’d never seen a couple so in love, and that was so true. I’m devastated that you won’t see Leah at prom which I know you always looked forward to, I’ll miss your infectious laugh. My world has been torn apart and will never be the same, but I will keep your memory alive now and forever and will make sure mum is taken care of in the same way that you took care of her. I love and will miss you forever. Until the day we meet again xxxx

I was lucky to have a Father-in-law as special as Martyn, the kindest most friendliest man i have ever met. Martyn always put other people before himself and never complained even when things didn't go his way.
He will be greatly missed by all those who had the pleasure to meet him and the void he has left in his families hearts will never be filled.
