Dear Friends I cannot be with you in Horfield on Tuesday but I shall be there in spirit as I remember Margaret a friend to me and my family since 1976. She was a remarkable woman and I have been privileged to have known her; not always easy to be with as she challenged the status quo in a number of areas, she had energy, enthusiasm and provided practical help to me and many others. My life has been affected in a number of areas because of her : Women's Aid, Peace rallies at Greenham, SERVAS, vegetarian meals and indeed Quakers are all interests of hers that I came to share.
Margaret, thank you for all you were and all you shared and all that I received from you . Rest in peace. Sandi
