I will always remember how great Graeme was as a work colleague and manager. He was genuine and immensely intelligent, so it was hard not to learn so much from him. He never gave up on giving and helping others. I’ll never forget the time he kept my secret for a while that I actually hugged a customer by accident in my Lombard days!! His smirk trying to hold in the laughter I will never forget! Keep on smiling Briggsy, you will be in my memories and heart forever. RIP x

The Graeme I remember is a cute, curly headed, feisty, and exceptionally bright little boy - my neighbour from Castleside. Gone to soon, you will be a huge miss to Jack and Margaret and your family and friends. xx

I knew Graeme from my time working on the Credit Team at Lombard in Redhill. I can still remember Paul Roberts (his manager at the time) telling me that he'd hired a super smart guy and that I was sure to appreciate his Credit proposals and that he was certain we would get along. Paul was absolutely spot on.

Graeme was incredibly bright and I enjoyed sparring with him as Credit and Sales often do, but you could never fault him for his absolute professionalism and his desire to structure the absolute best deal for his customer. We both had a keen interest in the wider world and we would sometimes discuss a lot more than what was happening in the North East of England. I enjoyed our conversations immensely.

He was a great thinker and he cared so much about his fellow man. A truly genuine Great Guy!

The world is poorer for his loss. Briggs! I am going to miss you.
