I am sure wherever you are now, Dave, you will be entertaining many people with your wonderful tales of life's ups & downs, described with your usual honesty. It was a pleasure to have known you for these last 40+ years & I'll doubt I'll ever meet a better raconteur than you

David I will always remember you laughing and being on the floor with the kids at Xmas and Birthdays with the noisiest of toys you had given them. Thank you so much for your laughter. Rest in peace, your girls are a credit to you.

My dear cousin
It’s hard to believe that we’re all writing to you on here. You’ve been taken in the cruellest way but fought with such strength, dignity and incredible courage. It was an honour to know you. A great bloke and a fantastic father. Your wonderful girls are such a credit to you and we will always be there for them.
I keep thinking about you but always seem to end up laughing as you were the best joke teller and anecdotalist I’ve ever known! The story of the box will be with all of us forever!
Thank you for being a great cousin, thank you for bringing your beautiful girls to our family, thank you for your amazing humour and thank you for forgiving me when I borrowed your Prince tape and never returned it!
I will miss you David but I’ll remember you always. Rest well mate
Love Nina
