Please accept our sincere condolences. Fiona was a remarkable lady and everyone at Channings Wood is better for having known her. For those of us that had the privilege of calling Fi a "friend" outside of work, have been humbled by her kindness and compassion to everyone around her.

She will be greatly missed and we are truly saddened by her death. Know that our thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends during this difficult time.

With sincere sympathy,
Nigel & Lisa Isaac

Fi, I can honestly say I have never worked with anyone who made it a pleasure to work with. You made the job interesting and fun.

Fi was the first person who spoke to me when I walked through the Gate at Channings wood 22 yrs ago . I shared a coffee with her less than 3 months ago and she was the same and unique lady who had the respect of staff and prisoners alike, there'll never be another Fi , God bless you, you'll be missed , never forgotten and often talked about with a smile

It was a pleasure to have known you and served with you Fi, you were a no nonsense officer who always knew when to use a few 'choice words' if needed. We had some laughs and I will miss you now on my dog walks. Rest in peace from Julie.

Fi a real trooper knew no fear and always showed compassion when dealing with prisoners. Never forget the time when you threw a bucket of cold water over a prisoner in the shower only for him to return the favour. The look on your face was to savour..RIP Fi from the old guard LB3 CHANNINGS WOOD
