MaureenSHEPHERD(High Heaton) Passed away peacefully on March 21st aged 73 years. Devoted wife to John, loving mum to Jo and Melissa and the late Indy, her much loved Bichon Frise and a very proud granny to Max. Maureen is forever in our hearts and will live on through Jo, Melissa and Max and all the neighbours, friends and family she was loved by so much. Due to the current circumstances, it is with great sadness that the funeral service will remain private with a small group of immediate family only. A celebration of Maureen's life will take place at a later date.

I had the priviledge to have got to know Maureen whilst providing care for her husband John since November. She would always greet me with a smile and we had lots of chats about our families. She spoke with love and pride of her children and I got to share in their happiness the evening they heard Max had entered the world at Christmas. I won’t forget Maureen or John. She had a heart of gold but was a strong caring woman.
My heart goes out to the family and friends of Maureen. I think about how John is taking this loss every day and hope his support and health will get him through this traumatic time for him.

R.I.P Maureen

I was so very lucky to say Maureen you were my best friend. We met through our beloved dogs Indie and Phoenix and soon realised while out on walks that we loved spending time together, chatting, laughing and forgetting for a moment the cleaning and washing.
Even though our friendship was short you will live in my memories forever as my very special and best friend. Love you Maureen and thank you again for coming into my life.
