Michael EdwardRICHARDSRetired solicitor of Falmouth. Born 17 October 1933, died peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Monday 28 June 2021, aged 87 years. A private family burial took place at Penwith Woodland Burial on Friday 16th July. A public Memorial Service to celebrate Michael's life will take place on Thursday 12th August at 2.00 p.m. in the Chapel Lecture Theatre, Falmouth University (Tremough Campus, Penryn), followed by a Cornish Cream Tea in the Italian Gardens of Tremough House. As the family wish to respect Covid social distancing, seating is limited to 100 in the theatre (masks to be worn). If you would like to attend, please can you RSVP by email: mikerichardsmemorial@gmail.com or (Tel. 01326 376926) Please notify any dietary and/or disability access requirements. Car parking is available on campus in Car Park E (Zone 2), which you need to pay for on exit. Regular bus services run direct to the campus and Penryn railway station (Truro-Falmouth branch line) is a 15-minute walk. A webcast and recording will also take place, and if you are unable to attend in person, please contact the Funeral Director to be able to access this. Donations in lieu of flowers would be most gratefully received for Médecins Sans Frontières, The Woodland Trust, or Falmouth and Penryn Welcome Refugee Families.
