Loving and much loved husband of Linda, cherished dad of Caroline & Steven & son in law Dean, proud and loving grandad of Spencer & Maisie, brother of Jim & sister in law Sheila, brother in law, uncle, great uncle & friend to many. Funeral service due to current circumstances by invitation only, at St Mary's Church, Barton on Thursday 15th April at 12.15pm followed by committal at Woodlands Crematorium, Scunthorpe at 1.20pm. Family flowers only but donations in John's memory if so desired would be gratefully accepted for (and cheques payable to) Macmillan Cancer Support OR for (and cheques payable to) Kidney Care UK, may be left on the plate at the crematorium or sent C/O F. S. Machin, Funeral Director, 1 Brigg Rd, Barton on Humber, N. Lincs. DN18 5DH
