Gloria JeanCARRPeacefully on 5th April after a long illness fought with great dignity and bravery, at home, in the arms of her husband. Gloria aged 77 years of Grimsby. Beloved daughter of Matthew and Lillian Powell. Loving and devoted wife of Mick and the late Ron. Much loved mother of Elaine, Caroline, Mark and Ian. Dear mother-in-law of John, Lisa and Nikki. Cherished nana and great nana. Dearest sister of Barry, Lea, Doreen, the late Matthew, Pauline and the late Michael, much loved sister in law and Aunty. Very dearly loved and respected by all her family and friends, special mum to Oscar and Monty. Gloria will be very sadly missed. A private family service will take place at Grimsby Crematorium on Wednesday 21st April. Gloria is resting at Alexanders Funeral Care, Alexander House, 70 Carr Lane, Grimsby, DN32 8JP to where floral tributes may be sent or if so desired donations in lieu made payable to The Ark, Donna Nook Road, North Somercotes, Lincolnshire, LN11 7NX. Due to space at the crematorium being limited, should you wish to join the online service please contact the family for details.
