We said a prayer and cried a tear now that you've gone no longer here, your loneliness and all that pain did leave your soul as they did wane You loved us dearly and we loved you, our tears will dry as yours have to This Xmas day will feel so sad for many years good times we had We loved your presence and your smile it stretched for almost half a mile, We'd save your chair, your resting place with dog by side who licked your face, we fussed you always, food, drink with princess Isla dressed in pink, we'd watch you tiring, eyes open/closed until that time when you had dozed, we'd smile and laugh as you would snore, dog still by side you'd grunt and roar, you'd stir at three and up you'd get twas time for Queen and silence set, we'll now and then look to the sky cause your Great Great.
