Karen AnnADAMSPeacefully but unexpectedly passed away on 16th February 2019, at the RSUH surrounded by her loving family. Karen, aged 66 years of Upper Tean (former owner of Pristine Pottery, Longton) was the devoted wife of Chris, much loved mother of Laura and Jessica, treasured granny to George and Olivia, and a dear sister who will be sadly missed. Funeral Tuesday 5th March, service and interment at St. Mary's and All Saints Church, Checkley at 2.30pm. Family and friends wishing to attend are kindly invited to meet at the above Church. Family floral tributes only. Donations welcome for the West Midlands Ambulance Service. Donations and inquires to J. P. I am Maureen, a Canadian from Hudson, Quebec where Karen grew up. She and I were friends from about age 3 as our mothers (Betty Thompson and Florence Grisdale) we’re close friends. We performed a ballet act together on water skis at about age 9 for various waterski shows (we were cute indeed!). Karen still has many friends in Canada. Rest In Peace my friend.
