He is survived by his widow, Jamila, children Anwar, Seema and Fareed, grandchildren Eman, Aman, Sophia and Sami. His body rests in Leek Cemetery. It is requested in lieu of gifts or flowers, that donations be made to the Macari Foundation, for homeless men of all creeds, denominations - they may be contacted directly on 07500 771682.
