Ben, you danced and glowed
Like a sparkler, bright with energy
Until all too soon, your life fizzled out.
You lived at a million miles an hour,
But we didn’t know you were
Afraid to be still with your thoughts.
As you stepped off this earth
For another world, we hope now
You have found your peace.

He shall not grow old, as we that are left grow old,
Age shall not weary him, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun, and in the morning,
We will remember him.
