JoanBURNARDPeacefully at rest on the 11th February 2016 after a short illness at the Royal Stoke University Hospital in the excellent care of the staff on ward 78. Joan aged 88 years of Newcastle. Much loved wife of the late Don, loving, treasured and wonderful mum of Gill and mother-in-law to Ray, a much loved sister of Alistair and the late Alec, Cecil, Bob, Joyce, Jean and Stuart, a much loved auntie and great auntie. Mum and dad are now reunited holding hands as they always would. Joan will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by all her loving family and friends and by the staff at Rowan Court Nursing Home and thank you for their superb love and care. Funeral service and cremation to be held at Bradwell Crematorium on Thursday 25th February 2016 at 11.20am. Will all relatives please accept this the only intimation, friends wishing to attend please meet at the crematorium. Family flowers only, donations preferred to Rowan Court Residents Comfort Fund.
