AgnesCAMPBELL(Gateshead) Peacefully in hospital on the 18th November, Agnes, the much loved mam of Martin, Stephen, Peter and John and also a devoted soulmate of Peter. Agnes will be sadly missed by all her loving family and friends. Would friends please meet for service at Saltwell Crematorium on Thursday 5th December at 11.15am. It's impossible to put into a few short words just what sort of woman Agnes was. She was many things to many people but to me she was, 'Ma'. When I lost my own mother she unofficially adopted me into her fold. She'd laugh at my silly jokes (normally at John's expense) and I always left her company with a hug and a kiss. Although it has been longer than I care to admit since I've seen her, I remember her as if it were only yesterday and she will be hugely missed. Sleep well, Ma. Big Love, Big Gav. XXX

Agnes was the epitome of a “northern woman from certain era” I first met her in the early 80’s and she immediately welcomed me into her family, and in all that time she had never changed. She’ll be missed by all who knew her x
