The friendliest, funniest, kindest person. Would go without to ensure that his loved ones were looked after. Keen gardener, from generations of farmers.
His war stories always made me want to hear more, the adventures he got up to and the places he's been. He really could have written a book.
His smile would light up a room and his character even more so.
Every year he made a pilgramige to Normandy I think to lay a wreath for fellow comrades.
I hope you are having afternoon tea with the Princess of Monaco again and are spending plenty of time with long lost friends.
Till we meet again.
Lots of love,
Amy

Lovely man with a twinkle in his eye. He visited us at The Blue Bell in Lincolnshire and signed the ceiling.

Very sad to hear the news of skips passing. I was one of his Broomfield Pegasus venture scouts. My thoughts and prayers are with his family
