DavidCORD ('Davie')'Davie' Passed away peacefully at Queen's Hospital after a long illness fought with great courage, on 19th May 2019, aged 86 years. Devoted husband of the late Muriel and the late Norma, loving dad of Muriel, David, Lorna, Margaret and the late Helen and a sadly missed father in law, brother, grandad and great grandad. Funeral Tuesday 4th June, service 11.15am in the Carnarvon Chapel at Bretby Crematorium. Floral tributes are welcome and may be sent c/o Murray's Funeral Directors, 23 York Street, Burton. DE14 2LX. Dad I can't believe you've gone, you've left us so many wonderful memories that we will cherish. Your love of poetry especially after a wee dram how you recited those words I will never know.
