Sending love to Josie and family. Ian was best man at our wedding some 40 years ago...the good old day. Chaddesden Cricket Club, Wicket Keeper (the most entertaining!), Wilmot Arms, Jubilee Club,
Saint Crispins. Rest in peace Ian. The best of men taken way to soon.

Was saddened to learn of Ian's passing , he was a top guy was always a pleasure to have him in the shop at mark Jarvis in Chaddesden where we had some good laughs . Never had a bad word to say about anyone apart from the odd jockey ! Our thoughts are with his family.

Although the last 36 hours were tbh heart wrenching, Ian died at peace surrounded by those who loved him... 💕. Me washing his feet and cutting his toe nails for him on New Year's day gave us all a giggle... plus to find my (Christmas) cracker that evening had a pair of nail clippers in them added to the additional laughter we wouldn't have wanted it any other way... he was then in charge of the roast beef and who would make the gravy!! Lasting memories of very special person who has left a huge void in my life. Ian RIP ⚘💕 xxx
