ErnestDAVIES(Ogger) Peacefully after a short illness on March 20th, 2010, Ernest aged 83 years, dearly loved husband of the late Irene Davies, dearest dad of Evelyn, Hilda, Robert, Jason, Victoria and Sharon, a dear father-in-law of Brian, Anthony and Steven, a loving grandad and great grandad, dear brother of Hilda and Gladys. Service at St. Bartholomew's Church, Blurton on Wednesday April 7th, 2010 at 11.15am., prior to interment at Longton Cemetery. Friends wishing to attend kindly meet at the Church. In the caring hands of: Forrester Brothers Funeral Services, Stoke-on-Trent Telephone 01782 313874.

At christmas time, for someone dear who helped me to believe that all my aims and goals in life were things I could achieve, someone I'll keep within my heart wherever I may go for if I'm a better person it's because he made me so, A wish that he'll rest peacefully and know that he will be in my thoughts now and forever for he meant the world to me, for he was the dearest parent that a person ever had and on Christmas Day, as always I will think of you, dearest DAD love now and always, Hilda xxx

Today,I have some choices I can shed a tear or think of all the happiness we hadwhen you were here, I can dwell on all the sadness and feel utterly bereft or think of all the love and golden memories you left, I can let my heart feel empty as I go along my way or do my best to honour you now that it's Father's Day, By doing what you'd want me to and that's to wear a smile whilst thinking of my DAD who made life so worthwhile.
