Well done good and faithful servent
To Johnny and family; saddened by your loss. There must have been hundreds of wee boys that Peter had in his Sunday school classes over the years. My Years were right afyter the war and we were chheky wee boys that could not be at peace from three o' clock until ffour o' clock on a sunday after noon in the back pew of the Baptist Kirk. Over here in the States the kids wear braclets asking "What would Jesus do?" and back then we were not that sophisticasted in our reflections on the right and the good but, very often the question was asked "What if Mc Douglas finds out and many times many of us used that question along with "What if Mr. McKendrick finds out." What wonderful anchors to help the cheeky wee boys make the right choices as they faced the difficult choices of manhood and now old age. Thank you Peter and I know you can hear me, for being my teacher and friend of my family.
