DavidEDWARDSPassed away on Sunday 13th January, suddenly but peacefully at home in Padstow, David Peter Frederick Edwards. Born in London in 1936. David spent the majority and best years of his life in Padstow where he was an active member of The Padstow Town Council, Harbour Commissioners, Padstow Gig Rowing Club and Padstow Rotary. Son of Dr. Alexander and Josephine Edwards and Brother to Angela, Valerie and Christopher. He is survived by his beloved June and his extended family, Ann, James, Jane, Oliver and Archie. Sarah, Jim and Sophia. Helen, Kevin, Chloe and Leigha. He will be much missed by not only his loved ones but by the town and community of Padstow, for which he had such a passion and gave so much of himself. We are all better for having known him in our lives. David's funeral service will be held at St. Petroc's Parish Church, Padstow at 2pm on Tuesday 22nd January followed by interment at Padstow Cemetery. In accordance with his wishes family flowers only please. Any donations to The Padstow Gig Rowing Club or The Padstow Christmas Lights fund at the service or c/o T. C. Rogers & Son, Funeral Directors, The Chapel of Rest, School Hill, Padstow, PL 28 8DT. 01841 532463.
