JohnFILDESOn 22nd March, 2020, peacefully at Madelayne Court, Chelmsford, where he was well cared for to the end (for which our heartfelt thanks to the staff). John was a loving and loved husband to Jackie, the very best of fathers to Lyndsay, an adored Grandpa to Ali, Ollie and Hamish and big brother to Laura and Mark. He spent much of his working life at Marconi and then ITN; he loved his work and made many friends at both places. We will miss his infinite kindness and patience, his enthusiasm for crazy new hobbies and his terrible puns. Funeral to be arranged, with a memorial service to follow at a later date. Donations if wished to Other Halves Charity via Co-op Funeralcare, Chelmsford.
