Dr. Vish (Hejmady Vishwanath Gadiyar) was my youngest uncle who shifted from India to Gloucestershire in 1956 - one year before I was born and I could never meet him in person during my lifetime. It's only today thru the efforts of my cousin Mr. Rajesh Gadiyar that I came to know about Dr Vish Gadiyar's sad demise. May God Bless his noble soul rest in eternal Peace. Rest in Peace Vishu Bappa.

It is with extreme sadness that I write this homage for my beloved grand uncle ‘Vish Bappa’ as my father fondly called him. I did not have the good fortune of meeting him in person. However, my father would tell stories about Vish Bappa as the smart uncle who went to London to study medicine. Growing up, he was a role model, someone I would aspire to become one day and go to London. He dedicated his entire life in service of humanity, such a noble man. I pray to the Lord for his soul. Rest In Peace Vish Bappa. There is a generation or two that has been inspired by you.

Dr Vish (Dr Hejmadi Vishwanath Gadiyar for records) was my youngest uncle. He left India in 1956 and settled in Gloucester.

May his noble soul attain sadgati as we say in Hindu scriptures.
