TonyGAZZARDAged 72 years, loving husband to Martha, passed away in the early hours of 5th February 2020. He will be greatly missed by so many people, whose lives he touched. Celebration of Life Service to be held at East Devon Crematorium, Whimple on Friday 21st February 2020 at 4pm. No flowers. I remember in the 80’s coming in to school and it had been broken in to and Mr Gazzard walked the whole school through his office to show the mess that was made. Brilliant headteacher and lovely man. Sorry for your loss.

Condolences to all of his family. Tony was indeed a remarkable man who had such energy and vision in his job as Head Teacher at Drake Primary. He was wonderful with the children and the staff. I know because my children attended there and for a short time I taught there. RIP.

I was so sad to learn of Mr Gazzard's death. He was a wonderful head teacher at Drake Primary School to me, and my brother and sister. I remember him playing the guitar during assemblies. My mum remembers being interviewed by him. What a great man. I'm sure he's very missed. Vikki.

Such a wonderful head teacher loved my time at Drake Primary. He really did make such a difference to so many pupils including myself. Thinking of Martha and his family at this sad time x x

Condolences from the Brown family. Tony was a wonderful colleague to my mum (Margaret) and I have fond memories of camping, fishing and even driving his boat! He was more than a head teacher - he was a mentor and an uncle to all the kids. Every single one of us who knew Tony (Mr Gazzard) will smile and have fond memories. Rest in peace.

My deepest condolences to you and all Tony's family and friends. He was a wonderful headmaster when my children were at Drake Primary School, many years ago; a great man who helped very many young people. RIP Tony, and thank you. You will not be forgotten.
