PeterGOODWINOn the 5th May 2020 at his home with loved ones at his side, Peter, aged 73 years, sadly passed away. Devoted and beloved husband of Janet, treasured dad of Becky, Richard, Carl and Darren, cherished father-in-law of Calvin, much loved grandad of Max and Jake, loving son-in-law of Doreen, dearest brother of Hilda. A friend to many, Peter will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Funeral and cremation service to be held at Carmountside Crematorium on Tuesday 26th May 2020 at 11am. Due to social distancing protocols, it is with regret and advance apology that the family are required to allow only 10 mourners to attend the service. They do wish to thank family and friends for all the kind words, flowers and cards of condolence they have received following the sad passing of Peter. Peter lived just up the road from myself and my parents. Whilst I grew up he always had time for a chat, he really was such a lovely man with a wonderful sense of humour! I and my family are certainly going to miss him and he certainly will stay in our hearts! He really was a legend! We as a family are thinking of you at this time and sending so much love. We met at Michelin stoke in 1978 and from there we began good friends and did a few things together, one in particular I remember is the time his dad stripped a car engine down and it ended up in bits in a cardboard box, painstakingly me an Pete built it back up an surprisingly we got it going ha, ha,
Pete would do anything for anybody that was the way he was, he was a great friend.
I just like to pass my condolences to Jan his wife and to all his family, my wife an I will miss him deeply,
Nite nite pete and god bless will see you the other side when its my time,
