I first met Chris over 20 years ago when I was in university with Catrin and Trystan. He was always so funny, clever, and full of life that it was never hard to spend time with him. I will never forget sheep shearing, lambing seasons and the mix of emotions that people experience with farming. The happiness of new life during lambing season and the sadness and frustration through troubled pregnancies, and death of the animals.
Chris gave me my first dog that I could call my own - Sion whom I adored and will be forever thankful for in my life. He was one of the few people who gave me sage advice after my divorce and helped me understand that life throws us challenges that we can work through and he was certainly right - something that he proved himself all the time.
I admired and loved Chris and will miss him so very much. He may not have known it but he made a difference - in the way I saw things, the way I do things nowadays and thats down to him. I like to think that he will live on, not only in memory, but in the things we do now because of him - no matter how small.
