Darling Grandad, how we all miss you. I won't ever forget your greeting of 'Hello Mate!' and your giant bear hugs where you would pick us up off the ground. Everyone knew you and even friends considered you to be their family. I don't doubt that you had a lot of people lining up to greet and say hello to you up there. My boys loved their 'Old Grandad' and always wanted you to come to their parties and events. You always gave them lots of time and didn't even mind when they asked you if you were 100 years old! They've been asking after you alot these last few weeks and they miss you.
I'm very lucky to have had you as my Grandad for 40 years. We'll look after Nanny for you. Night night Grandad xx
