I just learned the news today that John had paased away. I shall miss our chats over a drink, our jokes abut the 'Duke or Ratby' and the good crack when we got the chance to catch up for dinner, including the epic evening at Cafe Del Rey in Marina Del Rey when you were on the world tour family holiday.
Most of all I shall miss the down to earth, generous, humble family man whom I had the privilege to call a friend and neighbour.
My deepest condolences to Bev, Kieran, JonJo and Krysta.
May the road rise to meet you
may the wind be at your back
may the sun shine warm upon your face
May the rain fall softly on your fields
and until we meet again
may you keep safe
in the gentle loving arms of God
