Elizabeth BettyHINDSPeacefully on 15th May 2020, aged 84 years, in the loving care of Rathside Residential Home, Scawby, holding her daughter's hand, Betty finally lost her long and brave battle against Alzheimer's. Much loved Wife of the late Dick and Allen, precious Mum to Stephen, Philip, Sarah and the late Richard, dear Sister to George, Pat and the late Mary and Nellie, Mother-in-Law to Lynne, Maggie and Tony, adored Nanna to Keri, Emma, Christina, Catherine and Jessica and Great Nanny to twelve. A much loved Auntie and Great-Auntie Betty Due to these current and unprecedented times the family will be holding a private family service. Family flowers only but donations in memory of Betty will be most gratefully accepted for The Teenage Cancer Trust. Betty, a truly respected learner and friend, who attended Brigg Adult Education centre in its hay day run by Sarah, Anne-marie and the late Judy. Fond memories, never forgotten. RIP Betty, Chriss Tomlinson

Aww lovely Betty , worked with her at lysachts BSC. My first job after catering college Betty took me under her wing we got on so well . Wish we’d met up a lot more than we did . RIP Betty I often think about the laughs we used to have . Take care of each other Sarah thinking of you all xx Elaine .
