We are so very sorry for the passing of Charlie. He was so brave and went through so much, we were honoured to have known him. We have lovely memories of having a drink with him and Eileen and dancing to Sweet Caroline on New Year's Eve. He will be missed. May he Rest In Peace. Love from The Bradshaws.

Would like to say a few words about one of my great friends Charlie I have known him for more than 50yrs you could not wish to have met a nicer man he was the best centre half I played with, in the 60's 70's for Marsdens, later Gliksten Doors he will be sadly missed by all the lads who played football with him and worked with him I did the both which was a pleasure, my sympathies go to all his family I have lost a true friend
God Bless you Charlie you are now with your loving wife Eileen
