I am so saddened by the news of Mrs Kelly passing. And equally saddened that I missed the notice as I was in Manchester ( from Seattle) the day of Mrs Kelly’s Requeim Mass. I grow up with the loving greeting of Mrs Kelly as Maureen and I hang out so often in her home in Moston. She was such a devoted Catholic so it’s a blessing to see that Mrs Kelly was fortified by the last rights. Mrs Kelly was much so wonderful and I will forever remember her warm embraces every time she saw me and greeted me. Although I’ve lived in the United States for over 23 years Maureen and her family will always be such a part of the formation of my heart. God bless Mrs Kelly, trust you are hanging out with Mr Kelly and that lovely daughter Maureen. Thoughts and prayers to all the families. Bernadette Edwards and family - Nee Clarkin.
