I have fond memories of my Uncle David. I have lived most of my life far away in Canada, but treasure my memories of many short (too short) visits with David and Anthea. I will always remember walks at Cragside with David and his dogs (always Whippets it seemed!), and was inspired by David's love of learning and his knowledge and love of the natural world. I was also grateful for the opportunity to spend time with David and Anthea at their beautiful home and garden -- they were welcoming gracious, hosts, and their home always felt like a wonderful oasis of peace and tranquility for a weary traveller. I will miss my Uncle David! My thoughts are with Anthea and other close family at this difficult time.

A true gentleman and a lovely character.
I worked with Logan for many Years and have very fond memories of himself and Anthea both before and after our retirements.
