Stephen DavidMURTONDied peacefully on 15th March 2020, aged 70. Loving husband of Frances and father of Elizabeth and Andrew, and greatly loved grandfather of Grace and Henry. Funeral will be on 7th April 2020, but due to the current situation no mourners are permitted to attend. There will be a memorial service later in the year. Donations if desired in memory of Stephen to 'The Rock' or 'Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway Trust' may be sent c/o Mason & Stokes, 54 Hewlett Road, Cheltenham, GL52 6AH.

Steve was my boss twice over the years, and he was not only a great manager but a lovely man. I certainly appreciated his calming presence and ready sense of humour. I was very sad to hear that he had left us so early.
