My GREAT uncle Archie, I will miss you so much. Although we only saw you once or twice a year, I always loved hearing your tales and history lessons of the north east.
So glad you had Ros by your side to the end. Take care of Hughie for me. RIP xxx

Archie may have left us only to go to teach the angels how to be better at what they do. He has made an indelible impression on all who had the pleasure to know him. Such is the mark of a genuine and authentic man.

Everyone loved Archie. You knew you could always ask Archie. He was one of the good, selfless, kind and compassionate folk of this world. His tireless work and fund raising for St Oswalds endorsed that. We will all miss him very much. Sending love and comfort to Ros and loved ones. x
