If you knew sandra well, you would know she had a fear of most things. Some rational, most.....irrational. when she was diagnosed we all feared that this was one of her fears coming true but yet she didn’t fear it, not at all. she took it on the chin and simply said ‘right what do we next’. Her positive attitude not only stunned us but doctors too, in fact she wouldn’t understand why they would fuss so much.
Sandra was everything we try to inspire too, she was caring, thoughtful, helpful, joyful, non judgmental, protective, grateful and most of all loving. She loved nothing more than her family, every little achievement they made, she would genuinely beam with pride. every little hiccup that would occur, she would worry beyond what was needed. If you needed help she wouldn’t ask why, she would just help. If you wanted to rant she would just listen till you finished full of compassion and understanding.
Her boys happiness brought nothing to her but pure happiness, the love they found and the birth of her grandchildren. We are a family who love to joke and tease each other... a lot!! but there’s no mistaking the respect, bond, unity and love Sandra and Les shared was any joke.
Sandra was our rock, our pillar, our family core and to imagine a world where she’s not is unfathomable.
She is always in our memories and forever in our hearts as an amazing wife, a loving mother, a doting grandma,
A ONE OF A KIND!!❤️
