Lillian MayPHILLIPSPHILLIPS (nee Jones) Lillian May Peacefully on Sunday 7th December after a long illness courageously borne, at her home surrounded by her loving family, Lillian of Wyvern Avenue, Sandfields Port Talbot, formerly of Michna Street, Aberavon. Beloved wife of the late Reg. Loving mother of Gwyn, Carol, Kay and Derek. Dear mother-in-law of Jeff, Steve, Susan and the late Susanne. Cherished "Nana Lil" to her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A dear sister of Marion and her late brothers and sisters. Her dear sister Minnie, who sadly passed away in Holland 2nd December 2014. Lillian will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Funeral, Tuesday 16th December. Service at Salem Congregational Chapel, Sandfields Road, Port Talbot at 2:00pm prior to committal service at Margam Crematorium at 3:00pm. Family flowers only but donations in lieu please to the Marie Curie Nurses Fund c/o Mr D. Phillips, 64 Ridgewood Gardens, Cimla, Neath, SA11 3QF. You are always in our thoughts, i miss you everyday. You were and always will be the strongest, bravest, most courageous and generous woman i have ever known who never failed to put others infront of yourself time after time. Always a firm constant in my life and the lives of all your family. We learnt so much from you.
Your faith kept you strong through the worst times, you were always standing by us all. You kept us strong and we learnt so much from you, our teacher, our moral compass, our friend, our companion our nan.
May angels watch over you as you rest and may your faith bless you with gods finest reward.

Although we miss you each day, you have given us strength and courage and shown us how family are supposed to be.

I only hope to do you proud each day.
You were, are and will always be my hero.
