A dedicated teacher, a lady of faith, who used her God given talents to educate, encourage and above all enthuse all the children that she taught of the joy of learning and the difference between right and wrong . A much loved lady by all who’s lives she touched whether young or old. I along with countless others will miss her greatly. John O’Nions

This lady was my second ever teacher and she has always been present in my memories. She was really old fashioned and quite strict but she had a real twinkle in her eye. Without realising it she has been an inspiration for the kind of teacher I have become. She had firm guidelines but had an absolute heart for those in front of her. She also had the best laugh when it came it filled the room. My Dad used to see her at West Leake church and she would ask after me 40 years later. Rosa rest well and thank you for seeing me and believing in me. Xx

Very sad to hear this. I remember Mrs Price very well, she encouraged me when I used to do painting at Brookside school (I was there in the 1960's). She obviously made a positive impact on me, as I don't remember lots from those days. She was a lovely woman. Deepest commiserations to all the family and particularly to Anne, who I went to school with.
