Only just found out about this sad news from Sue Shepherd. What a wonderful teacher you were and how you impressed me with your high standards, fierce intelligence and sense of humour. I remember you walking the Pennine Way when you were 37. I walked the Annapurna Circuit when I was 37 and it was you who inspired me to take on a long distance walk and to study French at university. Rest in peace - you were an amazing woman and I am most grateful to have met you. Stella Woods
