WalterREEDPeacefully in hospital on 6th February 2020, Walter passed away aged 82 years. Walter was a Senior Plaster Technician at Blackburn Royal Infirmary for 25 years. He leaves his Wife Marion, Daughter Helen, Grandchildren Sam & Holly, Sister Valma, Nieces Marie, Thomasin, and Catherine, Nephews Russell, David and Kay. The funeral service will be held on Thursday 20th February 10:30 am at Whalley Road United Reformed Church Accrington, followed by a committal at Accrington Crematorium. Officiated by Rev Michele Jarmany. Family flowers only. Donations if desired in memory of Walter to Whalley Road United Reformed Church c/o Hyndburn Funeral Services, Queens Road, Accrington, BB5 6DR. Tel: 01254 233133

Walter our walk leader along with Marion, of so many years what a great guy such a wonderful big hearted person . Our walks were always such fun because of you and your bags of toffees! may you rest in eternal peace . Our days were made brighter because of yourself thank you so much Walter.

I have such fond memories of Walter. I was a staff nurse in A&E 1981-84. I remember his soft spoken kindness, humour & hard work. Condolences to his family.
