Sincere condolences to Joanne and all the family on the loss of Hywel at this very difficult time. I am reminded of many happy memories working with you both at HSBSC Gorseinon where Hywel was an important part of the set up and more importantly a big part of the happy background that had been part of the branch for many years before I got there. My personal memories apart from a lot of fun at work are of many days playing golf at bank functions. In the company of Hywel and John Honor these were great occasions of fun and hotly contested.
My sincere and heartfelt thoughts are with you all and I am really sorry not to be there to say goodbye. I will remember Hywel with much affection and fondness. I know how bravely he fought his previous health problems and this was also with the courage and humour . Farewell Hywel rest in peace. Brian Williams Burry Port
