We grew up together and had lots of fun and adventures while doing so . You are a part of a lot of my childhood memories when life was easy and care free and when I think back to them they all ways make me smile . We used to collect bommy wood months before bommy night and build the biggest fire known to man right outside your house so big and hot that it even used to melt the plasic window frames of your neighbours god knows how we ever got away with it . The times we used to run around holly lodge fields playing football and getting chased off the tennis courts by the park wardens. We would play out in the summer months until dusk when we where called in by our parents. There is too many memories to mention I could go on and on , but for now rest easy my old friend I will see you in the next life

The greatest childhood a kid could wish for was spent with you. Hours and hours of one touch football in the street. Sitting outside the BP garage in the rain with Wurzel as our penny for the guy, trick or treat and carol singing our way round the blocks for some extra pocket money and the many magical moments we spent at the boys brigade. I will miss you Joe. Love Mike - ‘I never had any friends later on like the ones I had when I was 12. Jesus does anyone?’ - Stand By Me

To my good mate since childhood Joe, we grew up together, worked together, played football together, cracked a few Arnie lines together and remained in contact all the way during the ups and downs. I will cherish all those memories we spent together.
Our family is brokenhearted by the news.
I hope you and my dad have a good old natter together about Everton now.
Miss you mate
All our love Ian x
