It is with sadness that I am writing this tribute to a beautiful, gentle, caring person I have been lucky enough to know for over 50 years. Lynne fought a brave and strong battle with Motor Neurone for several years, never complaining and taking everything in her stride. In the beginning, when she was well enough we used to go out for rides in the countryside she loved, it was as if she was mentally taking snapshots of everything in her mind to remember later when she was no longer able to go out. I can still remember the silly things we said and did on holidays we took with Ann and will miss the laughs we had. Lynne was a real friend, loving wife to Dave and mother to Jessica and Sam. She loved her parents Terry and Barbara and was very close to Jayne her sister who also helped her through this terrible time with Dave. I hope you are resting in peace now Lynne and are no longer in pain. I will always remember your smile and the way you used to sing and play the guitar. We will miss you always. Love Chris x
