I knew Bernard when he was a volunteer at Newcastle C.AB. He was so dedicated to the work of the C.A.B service and ensured that clients got the best possible advice especially on benefit issues. He helped so many people to turn their lives around over the years and was a loss to our service when he eventually retired. I am sorry to hear that he suffered so much in his final illness, may you be comforted knowing that he is now out of pain and is at peace.

I am so sad to hear of Bernards passing. He was the nicest kindest person and gave so much. He will always be remembered by so many. He touched so many lives. He also had a great sense of humour. A life well lived
