So sad to hear of the passing of Pete , had known him since l worked at Fielding and Platt in the late 60’s as an office boy then working in the factory. Later on Pete did the photography for myself and my wife Lyns wedding day . Had seen Pete on and off over the years especially at meet ups of the Fielding and Platt heritage society.

Our thoughts are with Danuta and family at this sad time Roy and Lyn Beard .

Dear Danuta
Very sad to hear that Peter has passed away, we grew up together in Lower Tuffley as i lived in Falfield Road when Peter at the time lived with family on Repney Road. We had not seen each other for many years up until 22 years ago we met by the luggage carousel in Bejing airport, even now I fondly recollect the instance as so strange meeting up 13000 miles away, we have since seen each other at the old boys versus current pupils at our old junior school cricket match played annually, but sadly not the past two years.
I have brothers who also knew the family and another instance was that my two elder brothers bought a train set layout that they were selling back when I was around 8 or 9 and remember having it set out in our bedroom, having many hours of fun.
Sadly due to current uneasy times it is not possible for his many friends and colleagues to attend the funeral, who like myself would have been there to say our farewells to a very good man and friend.
