Herbert Bassett (Bert)SOLOMONBert Korean War Veteran and formerly of Signode Peacefully on Palm Sunday, 14th April 2019, aged 85 at Morriston Hospital, cherished husband of Marie, much loved dad of Christine and Ian, Peter and Susie dearest bopi to Angharad and Rohan, Will and Georgia, Fred, Hannah and Mathew, Jack and Jordan, proud great-grandad to Morwenna and Rhianwen, devoted twin brother of the late Geoff, dear brother-in-law to Norman, Rita, Charlie, Paul, Wendy, Hazel, Norman and the late Rita and Vivienne, dear uncle to all his nieces, nephews and friend to all who knew him. Funeral Wednesday 1st May 2019 when a service will be held at St. Teilo's Parish Church, Caereithin at 10.45am, prior to cremation at Swansea Crematorium at 12 noon. Family flowers only please, donations in memory of Bert may be made to Parkinson's Research UK c/o Phillip G.
