Michael GerardTAAFFE ('Mick')'Mick' Passed away peacefully in the presence of his loving family on Christmas Day at the Royal Stoke University Hospital, following a short illness, Mick aged 72 years of Leek. (Retired Leading Fireman of Staffordshire Fire & Rescue Service). Loving and devoted husband of Maureen, much loved dad of Christopher and Derren, father-in-law of Karen and Rachel, cherished grandad of Caitlin and Abigail, dear son of the late Vincent and Mildred Taaffe, loved brother of Maureen and Peter, brother-in-law, uncle and cousin who will be greatly missed by all his family and friends. Funeral Tuesday 28th January. Requiem Mass at St. Mary's R.C Church, Leek at 11.00am followed by interment at Buxton Rd Cemetery, Leek. Will friends wishing to attend kindly meet at the church. No flowers please by request. Donations in lieu of flowers may be sent to Breast Cancer UK and The Fire Fighters Charity. Further inquiries to: David H.
