TAIT WILLIAM (Slatyford). Peacefully at home with his loving family by his side after a short illness borne with courage and dignity on 9th November 2014 aged 67 years William (Billy) (former employee of WD and HO Wills, Midland Bank and Wiltshire farm foods) dearly loved husband of Betty (nee Gordon) beloved dad of Bryan and Diane, Sharon and Mark, Malcolm and Sharon devoted and adored grandad of Sonny, Nicole and Sam, great grandad of Maise and Thomas dearly loved brother of Robert, Norman, Terry and the late Aggie, son in law of Louie. Would family and friends please meet for Funeral Service at the West Road Crematorium on Monday 17th November at 1.15pm. Family flowers only please, donations if so desired to Macmillan Nurses and Marie Curie Hospice, Newcastle for which a collection will be made after the service. Special thanks to doctors, district nurses, Macmillan nurses, Marie Curie Hospice for their excellent care of Billy during this difficult time. Billy will be sadly missed by all his family and friends but will remain in our hearts forever. R.I.P.

My darling Billy precious memories of you today. My Heart is broken it’s five years today since you left us . Never a day goes by without thinking of you and wishing you were here with me , my life is lonely without you but my memories of happy times together help me cope .
