How sorry I am to hear of the death of Geoff. I too had the privileged of serving in the Fire Service alongside him, he was very professional in every manner, always willing to help and advise everyone. The expression ‘true role model’ is often used, in Geoff's case this is without doubt unquestionable. Our condolences to Lynn and the family from Dennis and Susan Giles.

I had the privilege to work with Geoff during his Fire Service career from when I joined in 1966. I learned so much about our job from him due to his patience and knowledge which he passed on in his quiet manner. He was always a gentleman at work and socially and will be missed by many in the Fire Service Arena. Our condolences to Lynn and the family from Tony and Elaine Merrett
