Arthur HughTHOMAS(Archie) 10.12.37-17.01.17 Archie, husband to Elaine for over 54 years, father to Gareth (deceased), Hywel, Kevin (deceased) and Deri and grandfather to Rhys, Naomi and Luke, died unexpectedly in hospital in the early hours of January 17th after a short but very debilitating illness. The family are missing him more than words can say. Archie requested a totally private cremation and this will be held on Monday February 13th. After the service Elaine and the family will be at The Minstrel Boy, Buckingham Rise, Allesley Park at about 12.00 while Elaine will deliver the eulogy and invite you to bid a farewell to Archie. We very much hope that relatives, friends, former colleagues and neighbours will join us for this and then stay to share memories of Archie and enjoy a buffet lunch. If you would like to make a donation to a charity in Archie's memory I know that he would appreciate this going to SUDEP - a small charity that funds research into epilepsy deaths. We, as a family, have supported this charity for over 20 years following Gareth's death. Please give donations on the day or send them to 'Coop funeral directors 11 Lower Holyhead Road, Coventry.
