John BarryTHORLEY ((Baz))(Baz) Finally at peace after a long illness borne with great courage and dignity, on Thursday 28th May at the Royal Stoke University Hospital, John Barry (Baz) of Blythe Bridge, aged 78 years. Dearly loved husband of Joyce, cherished father of Ellen and Nick, much loved father-in-law of Selina, treasured grandad of Hannah, best mate of Monty, and a dear brother-in-law and uncle. Baz will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by all his loving family and friends. Due to current restrictions a private family funeral will be taking place at Forsbrook Cemetery. No flowers please by request, though donations in memory of Baz would be gratefully received for The Donna Louise Children's Hospice via the funeral director. Donations and enquiries to J. P. Sincere condolences and best wishes to Joyce and all of Barry’s family. My late husband Errol Champion who worked alongside Barry on the railways had many fond memories and had the greatest respect for Barry who he considered to be
a really likeable genuine person. Looking at Barry’s tributes it’s clear that he brought a ray of sunshine into many others lives and that is a wonderful legacy. R I P Barry, Errol’s wife Cheryl

Barry will be missed by all who knew him. I had a real respect for him he was a true Gent and his passing has deeply saddened me . My sincerest condolences to the whole family.
